Clinical Supervision
One of my professional interests and passions is offering clinical supervision to licensed psychologists, psychotherapists, counsellors, and clinical social workers, both seasoned and novice, as well as to psychotherapists-in-training, who seek a non-directive style of supervision.
My supervisory lens is informed by the therapeutic modalities I predominantly draw from in my own work with clients, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Process-Experiential therapy.
My approach to supervision for psychotherapists-in-training is collaborative and integrative: I will strive to help you identify the therapeutic approach that fits your personality and philosophy on the process of change in psychotherapy; I will follow a Socratic approach to supervision to promote self-reflection and self-awareness and to help sharpen your case-conceptualization skills; and I will recommend pertinent therapeutic interventions when appropriate.
